Kimberly R. Welling, Esq. was born and raised in Defiance. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Findlay with a B.S. degree in Biology and graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif with her JD from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2005 where she was a published member of the Toledo Law Review.

She joined Clemens, Korhn, Liming & Warncke, Ltd. in 2023. Her practice areas include estate planning and administration, real estate, and transactional business matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Welling had a successful career in legal education and nonprofit work, having worked for many national organizations, including AccessLex Institute, BARBRI Global, and Thomson Reuters. Her work has been published in a variety of legal publications, including the American Bar Association, Law.com, and the National Jurist. Additionally, Ms. Welling served as the Chair, Vice-Chair, and board member of an educational foundation that raises money for educator grants that support teachers and students.
